so before I got to the stage of deciding what charity's logo I wanted to recreate I did some research into many different kinds of charities. For a while I was considering doing the NSPCC logo as I really don't like it i mean I understand the whole 'full stop' thing but to me, if i didn't already know what that charity was about if i saw that logo i wouldn't think it was a children's charity at all. Anyway, enough of my ranting and more blogging !!
so here is some more of my leaflets I collected. The one that would stand out most is the dogs trust one. I just love how they put all those words into the advertisement that makes you feel soo bad that you just HAVE to donate !
here is some of the leaflets i received through the post recently. Most of them are cancer, however one of them is about organ donation. The envelope that says 'I need you' is for cancer and it is basically saying they need you to donate its simple and too the point ....none of the jibberish...just straight to the point.
here is a mood board of stuff i have bought relating to charity. In particular tickled pink. I have tickled pink wellingtons, a t-shirt and a reusable bag. I think giving people something in return of their donation is a good method because that means the person has that thing to remind them why they donated and to encourage them to buy more things.
I also bought a pudsey keyring and teddy because they were just soooo cute I couldn't resist !
so at this stage i was at the deciding factor. I was stuck between the NSPCC and an animal charity so i did some mind maps to brainstorm ideas and I got the most ideas from the animal charities. Brainstorming, in my opinion, is one of the best ways to get your imagination flaring. I was oozing with ideas after hehe!
